So, the idea behind my blog, as stated on my About page, is to document my internship journey at Boomtown. My aim is to post my ‘koeksister & brusselsprout’ moments, newly acquired knowledge, inspiration, thoughts, and anything else that seems to creep up on me during my internship basically a daily journal of memories

‘The Guiding Light’ ?

Although this doesn’t seem to link with graphic design, is does represents the idea behind my blog. When we were told to record our ‘journey’, I wanted a constant theme for my blog that corresponds with journey. I realized that to embark on a journey you need light… light to light up your path, to show where you are going, which way to turn and to foretell possible challenges. Light is there to guide, unlock, highlight, illuminate, clarify, reveal and help you discover.

And that is why I liken light to my 2week journey. As we go through these couple of days, Boomtown will be the place where light will be shed on topics and discussions, where new information will be shared and help us illuminate the paths set before us after our time here. Boomtown will be the platform on which we will start our BTech year which in turn will help us make crucial decisions for our future careers. (No pressure )

Here’s to a journey, to a guiding light, and to hopefully 2 bright sparks at the end of it. May the new memories begin!
